Quite a rare find! From the Summer of 1971, this white vinyl belt was produced to help advertise the new British public information films to advertise the safety of wearing seatbelts in cars. 'Clunk Click Every Trip' came from the advert, first fronted by Shaw Taylor and later by a disgraced popular TV and Radio presenter, which was made short and snappy in order to make people remember to buckle up.

Bold and catchy, it would certainly be a novelty to wear with your flares. So long as you don't mind the raunchy imagery, which appears to have been part of the campaign aimed at men as keyrings were produced with a woman wearing a chastity belt!

Condition

Slight yellowing to the belt loop, some loosening of some stitching to the back by the end, but it does not affect its use. Shown in photos.
