COVID 19

Please be aware, during the current Covid-19 situation we have made some changes to ensure safety to both our online and in store customers. 

There may be a delay to posting or collecting items if they have been tried on in store to allow for the 3 day recommended quarantine period, but be assured that all items are steamed prior to being released for added security. More detailed information is included separately below.

We can accept all debit and credit cards, Paypal and Apple Pay.

Orders & Postage

COVID-19

Please be aware that during the Covid-19 pandemic, our postage terms have changed. We will only ship twice a week, on a Wednesday and Friday an we still post internationally, but please be aware that there may be delays to all postage times due to increased demand and staff shortages. Do allow for a little extra time for your parcel to arrive.

If you require an item sooner, do please get in touch and we will see what we can do.

 

All orders will be processed within 1-2 working days of payment being confirmed. Our postage days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and we use Royal Mail. 

Most UK orders will be sent Second Class Signed For (orders over £100 are sent Special Delivery Guaranteed 1pm) and all International orders are sent International Tracked & Signed, so please give an address where someone will be able to sign for the parcel. All items will be sent with adequate insurance to cover the item should it be lost or damaged in transit.

Shipping Costs:

For postage we charge based on the price of your total order.

For the UK:

Up to £20: £3.90

Up to £50: £4.95

Up to £100: £6.00

Up to £500: £9.95

All international (out of the UK) postage is based on three stages of item cost:

up to £20 / up to £50 / up to £100 / up to £250.

Europe: £9.75 / £12.95 / £16.95 / £18.50

America/Canada/Africa/Asia: £11.95 / £16.95 / £21.50 / £23.95

Oceana: £12.25 / £17.95 / £22.25 / £25.95

Any tracking information will be sent to you once the parcel has been shipped, please keep this information as it will allow you to check the status of your delivery.

We can upgrade to First Class Delivery or Next Day Delivery for UK orders, do get in touch before ordering to tell us how quickly you require the item. 

If you are unsure of the cost of postage to your counrty, or require a more specific shipping quote for International sales do please get in touch.

Please be aware we do not send to PO boxes as it can cause issues when a signature is not obtained upon delivery. We also do not ship to shipping intermediaries.

We do not automatically send our most expensive items out of the UK due to the lack of tracking in some countries, and some smaller items are not listed as shipping Internationally due to the high cost. Please be aware that these are estimates and we are not responsible for Royal Mail or International post delays.

UK: 2-5 business days

Europe: 3-5 business days

North America, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania: 5-7 business days

These are calculated from the day your item is confirmed as posting, not from your order date. Please allow these times to pass before contacting us with missing parcel queries.

Customs & Tax

Please be aware that we are based in the United Kingdom, and we do not cover any customs or tax charges that may be added to the order after it has left us. We do not control the amount added and can't estimate these for you, and they will need to be paid by you. Failure to pay these will result in the item being returned to us, where we will deduct any charges attached to the item and refund the amount minus any postage we have paid. 

Order Pick-Up

Honeykins Vintage now offers in-store pick up from our new Oakham shop! Save yourself the postage and come and visit us in person!

We are open Thur-Sat 10am-4pm every week, and your order will usually be ready the same day. You will need to bring your HV order confirmation email so that we ensure you get the right piece of vintage treasure. 

In the instance that the item has been tried on prior to your order, we will contact you to advise you of a date to collect to allow for the full quarantine period.

Please be aware that your order will need to be collected within 10 days of you receiving your confirmation email.

Local Delivery

Honeykins Vintage now offers local delivery within the LE15 postcod, so for a flat rate of £2.50 you can now have vintage brought direct to your door!

Local delivery will be on a Thursday after 4pm, and the deadline for orders is 12pm on Thursday. If you require delivery sooner, please contact us before placing your order to arrange. 

In the instance that the item has been tried on prior to your order, we will contact you to advise you of a date of delivery to allow for the full quarantine period. 

Please ensure the address is correct as re-delivery will incur a further delivery charge. We will only leave an order with a neighbour if it is specified upon order. 

To adhere to Covid guidelines, we will ring/knock on arrival, drop the parcel on your door step and move back to a safe distance while you collect.
