Indian cotton is such a wonderful fabric to wear in summer; soft against the skin, light and airy and so beautifully printed. This smock style dress is a classic from the 1970s, with different contrasting floral prints on blue, pink and cream with metallic lurex thread to delicately catch that sunlight. A simple cut, and so comfortable to wear, it will become a staple in the wardrobe for events and days out alike.

• Three types of floral fabric in cream, blue and pink colourways with zig zag trims
• Rounded bib in contrast fabric with gold lurex and purple plaited trim
• Small stand up collar
• Quilted bib
• Button down front to bust
• Long, slightly billowy sleeves with elastic cuffs
• Below knee length loose skirt, with contrast ruffle hem
• Loose smock style waist
• Made from a super light weight and semi sheer fine Indian cotton with lurex thread throughout
• No fastening, designed to go over the head so please pay attention to the waist measurement for fitting over shoulders
• Unlined
• Indian cotton label to the inside

Condition
The waist has been mended by folding it under and sewing a slightly higher waistline due to pulling at the seam. The damage is hidden in this fold and secure. There is a small rust mark to one sleeve, and a small rust mark and a bleach line/non print area just under the bib (thanks to print, not noticeable). All shown in photos
