Based on a traditional Dashiki, which is a type of West African dress, this beautiful cotton kaftan style dress is intricately printed with a design to the centre in red, yellow and blue. On a background of black the print is bold and eye-catching, showing off the beautiful shapes and lines. Very unusually, the sleeve is capped and instead of a round neck, a gathered cowl has been added, making this a dress that would not look out of place on the beach or at an event.

There is a small 0.5in repaired tear to the front of one arm hole. This is a stress tear, having been too small for the previous owner. Shown in photo.
