A vintage wicker bag, a staple needed in every wardrobe so that you can skip along with your favourite vintage dress on, pretending you are off to some whimsical picnic! This gorgeous bag from the 1950s, really does look like a little hamper, with the leather clasps and decorative stripe. A great summer bag as it can fit everything you need in, as well as having a large handle that allows for it to be carried on your arm while you sip some Pimms.

Description

• Leather and gold tone twist clasp to secure
• Opens like a suitcase
• Made from a natural wicker with darker wicker stripe with gold tone chain detail
• One grab handle to the top with gold tone hinges
• Leather straps to bottom
• Inside lined in a white vinyl fabric with one slip pocket
• Made in Hong Kong label

Condition

There is staining to the lining inside, and a couple of marks on the leather straps at the bottom. There is a little marking to the clasp, all expected from the age and wear, shown in photos. Since the main photos were taken, marks have shown on the strap that looks like water marks. The bag has been reduced accordingly.
