Art deco purses are so beautiful in their design. From the 1930s, this simple square clutch has a stunning and intricate Celtic embroidery design to the front in primary colours, offset by the deep sheen from the black satin. The interior is lined in silk and has an inbuilt mirror and purse, the most needed things in a 1930s woman's life!

• Black satin fabric with gold edging trim
• Large flap to close
• Popper closure
• Cream silk interior
• One large pocket, one slip pocket
• Inset original mirror
• Small kiss clasp coin purse attached to interior
• Small clutch size
• No labels

Condition

There is some marking to the black exterior, which looks like a few scuffs and some water marks. You can also see where the purse outline is on the outside at the back. There is some loss of gold trim to the folds and edging. There is some marking to the mirror (does not affect use) and a couple of marks to the lining. All expected for the age.
