1960s White and Blue Embroidered Summer Shift Dress, 39in Bust
A clean and simple summer shift in the fab colour combo of white and blue, reminiscent of the idyllic villages in Greece. From the 1960s, the delicate embroidery really picks out the design details and adds a beautiful contrast to the crisp white. The fabric is light and soft, perfect for warm days and open toe sandals.
• Blue embroidery details
• Round neck
• Keyhole detail neckline
• Sleeveless
• Straight shift shape
• Faux pockets to the side
• Button to the back of the neck to fasten, designed to slip over the head
• Made from a mid-weight fabric that could be moygashel, with a super soft cotton/linen feel
• Unlined
• There is a small fray to the bottom of the keyhole at the back, and a couple of small edge frays to the bottom hem. Shown in photos. There is also a back belt shown in the photos but I had to remove this as it had begun to totally fray.
• Care/composition: no labels
