1960s Black and Clear Faceted Bead Tote Bag
Not all totes are made equal, and this s certainly a superior tote. From the 1960s, this bag is entirely made from black and clear faceted beads, all strung together in a decorative striped effect. It is so tactile, so extra for a tote! The monochrome is classic 1960s, I can just imagine it swinging from the shoulder of a girl skipping along the Kings Road in London in the Swinging Sixties! It has one large pocket, great for all the modern bits we lug around, with a cute top fastening strap to keep everything together.
• Made from black and clear faceted beads
• Two long handles
• Flower shaped beads and loop to the top to fasten - previous owner added elastic to secure this closure better
• Square bottom
• Large main pocket only
• Lined a black acetate fabric, loosely sewn in
• There is mild yellowing to the clear beads from age, and there are some scuffs/rubs to some beads from wear and use. Please see photos
