Honeykins Vintage & Covid-19

During the global Covid-19 pandemic, Honeykins Vintage has had to make some changes to ensure the safety of ourselves, our customers and key workers. Please read about the changes below, and if you have any questions, do get in touch.

Please be aware that during the Covid-19 pandemic, our postage terms have changed. 

We will only ship once a week, on a Friday, and we still post internationally, but please be aware that there may be delays to all postage times due to increased demand and staff shortages. Do allow for a little extra time for your parcel to arrive.

If you require your items sooner do please get in touch and we will see what we can do for you.

There may be a delay to posting or collecting items if they have been tried on in store to allow for the 3 day recommended quarantine period, but be assured that all items are steamed prior to being released for added security.

When we pack your items, we wash our hands prior and wrap on a clean surface using untouched paper and wrapping. Catching Covid-19 from parcels is a very low risk however if you are concerned, we advise leaving your parcel for a couple of days before handling it. 

The HV shop has taken all precautions for safety with the introduction of hand sanitizer points, masks required upon entry and social distancing. Surfaces are wiped daily and all items that are tried on are quarantined for 3 days and then steamed. 

We also offer private appointments on Wednesdays (when not closed for national lockdown) for people that are shielding or nervous about public open days. The store will have been empty for the required three days, and we will clean before your arrival. Masks will be worn and if you prefer, so will gloves. We can only allow 1 appointment for every Wednesday for this reason. To book, please contact us on info@honeykinsvintage.com

We are still buying vintage, but please be aware that during the current climate, we are unable to enter homes to view private collections. Photographs will be required via email initially, but we may require to take away pieces for them to be quarantined for 72 hours and then inspected after. Any items that we do not buy will be returned to you. Please get in touch if you have any concerns on info@honeykinsvintage.com
