1960s Mustard and Black Wool Waistcoat, by Scott Lester, 41in Bust
Giving me all the 1960s dandy vibes, this mustard wool waistcoat should have been worn in the background of a Beatles video. By Scott Lester, this dreamy peace has been well loved by a rampant moth, showing some extensive damage (it had very good taste), however it does not detract from the amazing contrasting detailing from the black cord. Wear it with some black flares cords and a black roll neck, or over an amazing boho dress.
Although this has been shown on a female mannequin, it is a unisex piece.
• Bright sunshine yellow, with black polyester cord soutache detailing to the whole garment
• Open fronted, no fastenings
• Sleeveless
• Lined in a yellow fabric, feels like a silky acetate
• Made from a mid-weight wool
• Scott Lester Organisation London label to the back
• This is not perfect and has been attacked quite well by moths. There are holes and grazes mainly concentrated to the bust, underarms and sides. Shown in photos as much as I could. They do not detract from the waistcoat but if you like your vintage pristine, I would not suggest this is for you.
• Care/composition: no label
Measurements:
Bust: 41in (measured across back)
Length: 23in
We advise paying close attention to the actual measurements of the garment. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
